Harry Stiller used BT21-12 as one of his mounts that year to win the 1967 British F3 Championship for the second year running. Besides the British F3 championship, the car also ran in Belgium & France.

BT21-12 was sold to Mike Beuttler in 1968 and continued racing in the British F3 competition with forays to Monaco etc. In January 1969 it was sold to Fred Opert and was shipped to America where it raced in SCCA Group C for various owners until 1974 when it was garaged for some 10 years by John Ranson.
The engines capacity had by now been increased to 1100cc and power ~124bhp at 8750rpm. BT21-12 was reintroduced to the race track in 1982 by David Crigler and then sold on in 1984 to Mike Crumay who restored the car and used it for Monoposto Racing (North American vintage and historic single seat open wheel racing cars).

February 2008 saw BT21-12 arrive in Australia for Kevin Taylor for use in historic regularity and racing series.

Below is part of a recent conversation between Kevin with Harry Stiller

How nice to hear from you Kevin and thanks for the kind words. You speak of my era of drivers having been braver....when I look back at it all I think to myself that we were more careful and had a great deal of trust in each other when we were racing wheel to wheel. It also had a lot to do with the fact that we were all friends both on and off the track and helped each other whenever possible.
Now, can you imagine that happening to the same degree these days?
Our level of safety and protection was minimal compared to the modern cars and equipment of today; as quite a few got killed each year, we were mostly all very aware that one bad move or silly manouvre could result in a fatal disaster so, in my opinion, the standard of driving was a lot higher in those times.

Now to your question about my 1967 car; this indeed was chassis number 12 and my British F3 Championship winning mount. It is confirmed by this link which you might find useful.

I also had a second chassis as a spare that year which was a build up by my mechanic, Tony Trimmer. It was loaned to us by Brabhams for the season as an assist to help me win the Championship. In 1968 Brabhams let me have a BT23c (F2 CHASSIS) on loan which we developed as a F3 car...I'm reasonably sure it was chassis number 1. I'm attaching a picture of chassis number 12 with me in it at Oulton Park where I finished 2nd to Roy Pike by a nose that day. It was great to hear from you and thanks again for your interest.
Best regards,

Harry Stiller.
